Summary
Etheos is a privacy-first event app factory and demo. Free preview is designed to keep organizer drafts local until the client intentionally publishes.
We do not sell personal data, and this demo is intentionally positioned against hidden attendee surveillance and unnecessary data collection.
Data we collect
- Account details such as name, email address, hashed password, and basic profile settings.
- Session-note and organizer data such as saved local notes, preview settings, bookmarks, and preferences.
- Technical and security data such as IP address, browser metadata, rate-limit events, and operational logs.
Why we use it
- To authenticate you, store your content, and sync your account state.
- To provide event-guide, organizer-preview, note-taking, resource-library, and backup features.
- To secure the service, rate-limit abuse, and answer support requests.
Third parties and transfers
Etheos is hosted primarily on Amazon Web Services in the United States.
In free preview, organizer draft data is intended to remain in browser storage unless and until a publish workflow is explicitly used.
If you use AI-assisted features in future hosted workflows, only the minimum feature-specific content required for that feature should be processed. Private local preview drafts are not meant to be sent by default.
If you access Etheos from outside the United States, your data may be processed in the United States.
Retention and deletion
- Account data and saved content remain until you delete them or delete your account.
- Operational logs are generally retained for about 30 days unless needed longer for security review.
- You can request deletion through the product or by email.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete your personal data.
California users may also use a browser-based Global Privacy Control signal where applicable as an opt-out signal for future covered processing.
Children and age requirement
Etheos is not directed to children under 13, and account registration is intended only for people who are at least 16 years old.
If you believe a child provided personal data to Etheos inappropriately, contact us and we will review and delete it where required.
